NNNN star review from NOW Magazine:

“Mistatim is more than just an entertaining narrative. It also deals with trust, two worlds seemingly far apart…vibrates with energetic freedom and thrilling, eye-opening discovery.” – NOW Magazine

From January 4 – May 28, 2017, we will bring 114 performances to British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Michigan, Minnesota, Minneapolis, Washington, Illinois, New York and South Africa.

Recently nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Production, the story of Mistatim is about the taming of a wild horse and the forging of the truest of friendships. A story of reconciliation for children and their families.

Under a big prairie sky, a simple wooden fence is all that separates Calvin on his ranch and Speck on her reservation, but in many ways they are worlds apart, that is, until a wild horse named Mistatim turns their worlds upside down.

Mistatim is about Indigenous ways of knowing, intercultural connections, and the potential to re-map the way that young people understand their world.
