Media advisory: Federal government to announce new partnership to increase apprenticeships across Canada

The Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations, Marc Miller, will be in Gatineau to announce funding for the Native Women’s Association of Canada for a project that helps Indigenous women and Two-Spirit and gender-diverse individuals find apprenticeships with small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Minister will be accompanied by Greg Fergus, Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister and Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board.
The announcement is being made on behalf of the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion, Carla Qualtrough.
A photo opportunity and media availability will follow the announcement.
