Call for Applications for the Indigenous Community Corrections Initiative
Public Safety Canada has just lauched a Call for Applications for the Indigenous Community Corrections Initiative (ICCI) to address over-representation of Indigenous people in Canada’s Justice system. Applications can be submitted until June 12, 2023, 11:59pm, Pacific Standard Time (PST).
Look at the applicant guide to get instructions on how to apply and who are the eligible organizations. Assistance is available in advance of the submission of an application to answer general questions. Please direct inquiries to the Indigenous Community Corrections Initiative.

The Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue invites you to an Indigenous conference luncheon on April 20, 2023, from noon to 1:00 p.m. Emmanuel Bertrand-Gauvin, Strategic Projects Coordinator at the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Economic Development Commission, will discuss the Bear movement, which allows for the protection and affirmation of Indigenous identity, particularly in the area of economic development.
