Ohén:ton Í:iente ne Ratitsénhaienhs (Grand Chief) Update now available for viewing

(Kahnawake – 9, Enníska/February 2023) The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that Ohén:ton Í:iente ne Ratitsénhaienhs Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer’s video update on her recent work and political developments is now available for viewing.

Topics include:

• Economic Development, and her new assignment to the portfolio;
• Governance portfolio, specifically developments with the Kahnawà:ke Governance Project (For more information: kgov.ca);
• External Government Relations (both federal and provincial government);
• the Capital Campaign for the Multi-Purpose Building Project;
• the upcoming Community meeting on Tuesday, February 21;
• Gaming and the Electronic Gaming Devices Pilot Project; and
• the Climate Conference in Lake Placid as a result of the partnership with Hydro-Quebec
